Our Story
In the Summer of July 2020, the sun wasn’t the only thing shining. The vision of a young, 39- year old entrepreneur, hairstylist, wife and mother was beaming. She, Asta McGriff, along with her two daughters, Akayla, 18, and Anesia,14, went on mission to tackle one of the toughest challenges a woman can face, hair loss. After a healthy weight loss journey, which resulted in her losing fifty-five pounds, Asta McGriff encountered something unexcepted, hair loss. This minor setback would be the beginning of something great. Asta began using raw shea butter mixed with cold-pressed organic oils on both her hair and skin. Initially the first few batches of the mix were subpar, but along with trial and error, while simultaneously using a “test group” of close friends, the products reviews improved quickly and consistently over the course of two months, as it reached a consistency that WORKED. It wasn’t until one of Asta’s close friends was complimented by a complete stranger on her “dewy-glow” that Asta realized that this product could change the vast landscape of the hair and skin beauty industry.
Asta McGriff’s Naturally Blessed Shea Butter delivers a unique culmination of products all created by one unified, signature blend. Products currently available include Naturally Lavender, Naturally Lemongrass, Naturally Unscented, Naturally Vanilla Shea Butters. The company also includes a line of Naturally Glow Scrub’s, scented shower scrubs provided in multiple scents and flavors.
Overall, the goal of the product line is to heal the body and soothe the soul with natural ingredients that represent and reflect the Creator of it all, God.
